Working as a part time technician at the Hastings city art gallery is an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Gaining knowledge about condition reports, the correct ways to handle art works, various methods of hanging works, lighting and much more have been invaluable.

It is also a great way to meet other artists and network with people involved in my local art community. I feel a great sense of satisfaction knowing that I am helping to improve and promote my local gallery, which provides everyone with free entry and an opportunity to experience excellent works of art firsthand.
